Delhi Charter Township is located in Ingham County, Michigan, directly south of Lansing. Settled in 1837 and organized in 1842, Delhi Charter Township today covers almost 29 square miles of land, home to a population of roughly 26,000 people.
Delhi Township includes the unincorporated community of Holt, situated just south of I-96 and about six miles northwest of Mason. About half the population live in Holt. Delhi Township is home to many businesses, as well as 100 acres of parks. The Grand River flows through the township’s southwestern area, while Sycamore Creek runs along the northeastern section. Altogether, Delhi Charter Township ranks as the fifth-largest municipality in Metro Lansing.
